The Foundation for Freedom
“Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.” ~ Psalm 51:6 ……………………………. “God’s truth, woven richly into your innermost being, is the foundation for freedom. God wants His truth to sink deep to establish His perfect wisdom in your mind and heart. When you understand the truth of your position in Christ, you understand that you are sealed by the Holy Spirit – that you are secure in the family of God. No act or thought can ever alienate you from the love of God. You belong to Christ; You are His and He is yours. When you understand the truth of your person-hood in Christ, your feelings of inferiority can dissolve. You are of infinite worth to God, who died on your behalf. It is not your income level or social status that determines your value; it is God’s estimation of your life. You are so valuable to Him that He desires your company for all eternity. When you understand the truth of possessions in Christ, any incompetency or inadequacy you may feel is overcome. You have everything you need in the indwelling Christ. He makes you adequate for every demand.” ……………………………..I was reminded exactly how intricate our lives were designed. Every thought already known, every worry and concern already accounted for. We come to God for answers in times of trouble and worry but we really only have ourselves to blame for the state of despair and distress by not resting in the fact that He already knows and has provided for that very thing you are allowing to fester in your mind. We waste time and energy trying to find an answer with our finite minds when we should just wait patiently for the answer to come in the PERFECT moment. There is comfort if only we allow Him to give it. If we focus on Him, things of this world fall away and are shown for what they truly are, which is nothing of importance. Its so easy to get caught up in the busyness of living that we often forget that we are here for a short while, to make a difference and to shine His light. Out of the ashes of living from day to day we rise, shining. Small reflections of a greater Light. The conscience struggle against the bindings of life culminates to this one truth.
